Center
is funded by the Office of Children and Family Services to support the increase of the availability and quality of infant and toddler care across the state. The
Western
New York
Regional
Infant
Toddler
Resource
Center
is set up to:
-
Provide enhanced technical assistance to providers on best practices in serving infants and toddlers

Work with established and potential providers as they develop new infant and toddler care
-
Promote and facilitate child care staffing to obtain specialized training and credentialing
-
Make information available on best practices to the provider community
-
Serve as a resource to all the Child Care Resource and Referral agencies in the region in the development of training and other mechanisms to share information on infant and toddler care
-
Serve as a resource to the regional licensing/registration staff in responding to infant and toddler issues

Conduct other activities to promote an understanding of the importance of, and strategies for, improving the quality of care for infants and toddlers.
