The Child Care Resource Network is authorized to provide fingerprinting services for all child care providers in Erie County.

Fingerprinting services are offered on a regular basis at the Resource Network. For more information or to schedule a fingerprinting appointment, call the Resource Network at 877-6666, extension 3067.

If you have been fingerprinted within the past 4 years for child care and are changing employment locations you need a waiver. You can download the waiver form here and fill it out prior to coming in for your fingerprinting appointment.

Directors as Leaders

The Child Care Resource Network, in collaboration with Success By 6, the Association for the Education of Young Children of Western New York (AEYCWNY) and the Child Care Association of Greater Buffalo (CCAGB) has initiated an effort to provide professional development for child care administrators. Funded through the US Department of Health and Human Services, Directors as Leaders hopes to assist area administrators to meet their critical responsibilities as program operators and managers.  This outreach includes executive directors, program coordinators, head teachers, and others who have responsibilities for center operations in addition to or away from the direct care of children.
