Step1: INTRODUCTION TO CHILD CARE...
Are you interested in becoming a Family or Group Family child care provider? If so, the
Introduction to Child Care class is an important beginning.
This introductory class will provide you with an overview of:
1. the child care process in
New York
State;
2. the New York State Family/Group Family Child Day Care Regulations;
3. your obligations under the state and local regulations;
3. issues that you will encounter as you prepare to set up your business.
In addition, you will have an opportunity to have your questions answered and be able to ask questions regarding the process.
Once you have completed the Introduction to Child Care class, you will be eligible to attend an Application Workshop designed to give additional assistance in filling out the application to become a provider.
