Financial Assistance for child care is available through the Erie County Department of Social Services for low income parents/guardians. You should contact the Department of Social Services at 716-858-8953 to determine if you are eligible for a subsidy. If you have additional questions or believe that you have been unfairly denied a subsidy contact Neighborhood Legal Services at 716-847-0650.
You should also inquire about fees at each program you are interviewing. Ask if the program offers sibling discounts, scholarships, or a sliding fee scale.
