Training and Educational Services
Training is fundamental to providing quality care for children. The Education Department of the Child Care Resource Network offers a wide range of classes, seminars, and conferences on topics relevant to child care and early education. Attendance and participation in these education programs count towards the hours required to maintain provider certification/licensure. Through training, personnel who work with children and families can continue to increase their skills, knowledge, and understanding of children and families. The Child Care Resource Network urges you to continue your professional development through the classes and training programs we offer, as well as through conferences and college programs.
Do you have questions regarding regulations? Wonder how to deal with a particular situation in your program? Are you interested in starting a day care center or becoming a family or group family provider? Child Care professionals can receive technical assistance through the Child Care Resource Network. The Resource Network's CACFP provides reimbursement for qualifying meals and snacks served to children in family, group family and legally exempt day care homes. Adult day care centers, outside-school-hours programs, and homeless shelters are also eligible to participate in the CACFP through other sponsoring agencies.
